Lady Gaga Vs. Madonna Catfight Heats Up

I remember when Madonna was the same age as Lady Gaga and the new hot thing on the scene. Bette Midler publicly bashed Madonna and accused her of ripping her off. The aging Bette (who was younger than Madonna is now) was obviously jealous of the young starlet...now it seems Madonna has taken the same low road as Ms Midler. Midler, who can actually sing, had nothing to be jealous about...Madonna on the other hand is threatened by Gaga's voice and her raw talent. You can write in your little blog whatever crap you want, but the fact is Madonna doesn't get invited to perform with music legends, like the 25 year old Gaga does. Madonna is stuck teaming up with Britney, Christina, Justin and soon LMFAO...its sad really, 50 something year old Madonna is being forced to cling to acts half her age in an attempt to remain relevant...when was the last time she had a hit that didn't involve a duet with someone she was old enough to be a mother to? The only reason she refuses to cling on to Gaga is because this woman can actually sing a lot better than she can.
it may seem that I'm bashing Madonna, but I'm not...I do love her, I just wish she could age a little more gracefully... You don't see Cher ragging on the up and coming girls. Speaking of Cher, when Madonna was in early 30's, she made fun of Cher(Pre Believe) for being too old and a joke...Cher was only in her 40's. It's really sad, but Madonna has become the joke...going on 54 and having to do duets with kids to get her name out there. If only she was as spiritual as she tries so desperately to convince us she is.
I think its time for the Queen Mum to step as aside...there's a new Queen of Pop....nothing is forever Madonna...no matter how tight you get your face pulled.

Are you kidding me? Are you fucking kidding me? I will say this once.......ALLL MUSIC TODAY IS GARBAGE! It's all auto-tuned junk that always talks about sex, materialism, and drinking, and doing drugs. It's not real music, especially Lady Gaga's. It's horrible. This generation is so screwed up in the head, that guys actually think that Lady Gaga can hold even a candle to Madonna, but she can't. Let's be honest, Gaga will not be remembered 30 years from now. She will be gone. Madonna has stayed relevant for this long. In order for Lady Gaga to be Queen of Pop, she has to be able to make real pop music, not generic stuff. Gaga is not the Queen and she never will be. I swear people these days don't know anything about good music.

You are obviously not familiar with Lady Gaga's music. Madonna is not about sex and materialism....he original Material Girl who put out a book with naked pictures of herself called, Sex? Her entire career was based on shock and NOT talent. Madonna stayed relevant? If she was so relevant, why does she need Britney Spears to help her stay in touch with the kids?
"People these days don't know about good music"...thats what people always say about youth....Its the first sign you're getting old Avery. You Avery are the perfect example of the insecure Madonna fan I was speaking of. You're so frightened that someone is out there who can actually sing and is having number one hits and pushing the envelope. If you ever bother to get over your fears and listen to the Gaga's lyrics...that she actually writes herself, including the music...you will would see her lyrics contain meaning.

The always more polite Madonna?! Madonna is not known for being polite, quite the opposite actually. I wonder if the fan who gave her Hydrangeas would agree with you biased statement? Madonna's problem is simple - she can't stand women with real talent, If I recall the 80's, Madonna hated Cyndi Lauper, because the two were always being compared, but only one of them could actually sing.
"Madonna the original individualistic" this statement proves how young and clueless you truly are. Janis Joplin, Cherie Currie( wore lingerie on state in the 70's when it was truly shocking), Joan Jett, Debbie Harry, Patty Smith and Pat Benatar were true individualistic pioneers long before Madonna showed up with her fake New York accent, which is now a fake British accent.
The only thing I find more insecure than Madonna are her fans. Deep down they know untalented old hag has been replaced by the younger and more talented Lady Gaga. Madonna hasn't had a number one song in the US in 12 years; Lady Gaga comes on to the scene and breaks records...bitch all you want Madonna fans, the writing is in the charts.

Gaga is known for treating her fans with kindness, madonna is known for being rude and making fun of the flowers they give her. This woman doesn't have a polite bone in her body. anyone who says differently is a fool.
Its funny, but not one madonna fan can come up with one decent argument of why she is better than Gaga. They just go on about her being a pioneer and more talented...two total untruths that have been clearly pointed out here by a few people.
It must be nice for Old madge to have such diehard fans, too bad she treats them like crap.

I don't know where you get your "impersonation" ideas from, but the ONE thing that distinguishes Lady Gaga from what's-her-name is TALENT~she's a far better singer, dancer, songwriter...I didn't start off being a LG fan, but the more I heard her sing, the bigger fan I became. I respect both her creativity and humanitarian efforts. Undeniably (OK, imo), LG has 1 of the 2 best voices in the business right now (Adele being the other voice)!

Well said August Lady. I too was not a fan when Just Dance came out, but one day I started watching her live performences on youtube and I was hooked. Madonna should feel threatened by Gaga, she has a huge voice...something Madonna has been trying to obtain for yrs, but failed at....some needs to tell her its a gift you're born with...and Gaga was just born that way.
What really cracks me up is that Madonna fans bash Gaga by claiming her songs are ripping off Madge...Gaga has put out three albums in four years and one songs out of dozens bares a resemblance to one Madonna song and all you aging queens jump all over it. Its not like Gaga was trying to hide the insperation...she's posing at the end of the video with a big ugly gap in her teeth, looking a lot like Madonna.
Gaga was paying homage to her idol...its just a shame her idol is an aging diva that can't take a compliment.
