Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee is important enough for even the Spice Girls to possibly reunite as revealed by singer Melanie Brown. The jubilee is set for June in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Queen's coronat
ion. Is the Queen a fan of the 90's pop group? Either way, the girls are still popular, and their songs are still stuck in the heads of thousands.
It appears this isn't the only event the group is rumored to be coming back for. According to Gossip Cop, Melanie Brown told an Australian television interviewer, "Ooh, I think the Queen's Jubilee concert is the event I'd be looking at more closely for that to happen," when she was asked about a Spice Girls reunion for the Summer Olympics in London.
The reunion, however, has not officially been confirmed. Melanie Brown, along with Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell already had a successful reunion tour in 2007-08. So while both events are rumored to be hosting a get together by everyone's favorite british pop stars, neither has been confirmed to be true. Will the Spice Girls be back? It's possible, but most likely only for a show or two.
