Brad Pitt won't allow his kids to Google him. In fact, he had both his and Angelina Jolie's names blocked on their computers. What exactly is it that they don't want their kids to find out?
According to a report from People.com, it seems both Brad and Angie are well aware of the many results that would pop up if their children Googled either of their names. And certainly not all of those things would be appropriate for their children to learn.
"On all the kids' computers we had our names blocked," Pitt says. "They can't Google their mom and dad. I don't want to make myself dependent on what other people think."
Still it sort of sounds like there may be specific things they don't want the kids finding out. For example, are the kids aware of how their father ditched Jennifer Aniston--who was then his wife--to live with their mother Angelina Jolie? And are they aware of the fact that their dad smoked lots of pot not so long ago?
There are definitely things on the internet that many parents don't want their children accessing, but when it's the parents themselves they don't want the kids reading about, that can present its own set of problems--especially in the future. They won't always have the kind of control they have now. Soon Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's kids will be off at school, where they can access whatever they want on the computer.
Do you find it a little bit unusual that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie don't want their kids Googling their names on the internet? Is it in the least bit disturbing to you?
