When new episodes of Teen Mom air, there are many things that the viewer doesn't get to see.
For instance, this week's episode showed Chelsea Houska move out on her own, promising her dad that she would help pay rent. Viewers saw Chelsea start her new job, but what they didn't see were the other things that she did to ensure she would be able to pay her share.
She is arguably one of the most fashionable girls on the show and what teen girl wouldn't want to dress like her? Some South Dakota teen may own a piece of Chelsea's wardrobe and not even know it! A bonus clip shows Chelsea taking a box full of her clothing to Plato's Closet to sell. She has some fabulous style and the store must have taken notice because she walked out with nearly $100 in exchange for her clothes.
It is little things like this that could help the viewers see a different side of the teen moms. Some feel that Chelsea is spoiled; and of course the things that they see on the show doesn't always help that preconception. If MTV were to air clips like this though, would people have a different view of her? She is obviously working hard to become independent and deserves recognition for that.
