Here is where we stand with my Dad's cancer.
Its in his lungs. Its in his bones, especially his ribs, pelvic, and arm bones. They did an MRI. He would not lay still enough for them to get a scan of his actual brain, but his skull itself is covered with lesions.
Chemo is not an option, it would kill him.
Radiation would not prolong his life at all, so they are not going to put him through that either.
He is being released from the hospital Monday.
He won't be going home though, he'll be going to the nursing him that my sister in law works at so that he will have someone there to take care of him through his final days.
Now we just wait.

i am glad that he will be in a nursing home with at least one familiar face......that should give you all a bit of comfort.....
