Drake vs. Common Beef: 'Sweet' Diss Track Discussed by Wale (Video)

The Drake vs. Common beef might seem to be over, but it's still being discussed by other rap stars. In the past several days, Rick Ross' MMG protege, Wale, gave his thoughts on the "Sweet" diss track as it relates to the current state of hip hop.
Recently, BOI-1DA presented an exclusive interview with rapper Wale, seen in the YouTube video below. Among the topics that Wale fielded in the talk was the issue of SOPA, and the recent Drake vs. Common beef. In particular, Wale addressed Comm's "Sweet" track. The song is what was said to have set off the whole feud with Drizzy, as it called some of the new school rappers too soft. Drake took exception.
The question posed was "According to Common, Hip-hop is too 'Sweet.' What are your thoughts on its current state?" Wale said of the new state of hip hop:
"[It's] a challenge to radio on what they are willing to accept and what the deejays get behind."
The MMG rap star added that he's "happy" with the current state of the game. He didn't take any shots at either Common or Drake in the interview, which is a smart move. It's likely he respects what both rappers have done and how they might assist him. Wale never knows when he might be teaming up with one of them for a future hip hop track, right?
