Leah Messer has decided to put her twins, Ali and Aleeah, in a beauty pageant. However, this isn't just any pageant, but one that supports St. Jude's Hospital.
Leah's mom has taken to Twitter to spread the word about the upcoming pageant, but little details were known until now. HollyBaby has gained some exclusive information from the director of the pageant that the girls will be competing in.
What seems to set this particular pageant aside is the fact that the girls won't be paraded on stage in big bulky dresses, heavy make-up, and spray tans. Rather, it is meant to help the girls with their self-esteem. The best part is, no little girl will feel left out as everyone who signs up automatically receives a trophy to display and also a crown and a sash to wear. They do, however, have the opportunity to win other prizes if they win one of the many titles offered.
While some mothers cringe at the idea of putting children in pageants, it seems that Leah has made a good decision by choosing this one. She hasn't made it clear if she wants to continue on the pageant path, but only time will tell. Maybe the girls won't even enjoy it. They are very young and have some time before they will be able to decide for themselves if it is something they want to do.
Fans of Teen Mom may even have the opportunity to see the pageant in the future! The director says that MTV plans on being at the pageant, cameras in hand. That means, there is a good chance that it could be a part of one of the upcoming seasons of the show.
What do you think about Leah Messer putting her daughters in a pageant? Is it a good idea?
