Demi Moore's hospitalization was reportedly caused by a seizure. The hospitalization was not because of the anorexia and substance abuse issues. According to a source close to Demi, it was the epileptic seizure that rushed the "Ghost" star to the hospital.

The source stated, "She collapsed after having an epileptic seizure. Demi is in getting treated for anorexia, as well as other issues that caused her seizure." Seizures are typically triggered by stress, and the actress has been going through a massive amount of stress after she learned about Ashton Kutcher's affair with Sara Leal.

After Moore and Kutcher worked on reconciling their relationship following the affair's announcement, Moore did decide to separate from Kutcher. He has reportedly been living a partying lifestyle since the split from his wife.

After the separation was announced, many people assumed the couple would divorce; however, divorce papers were never filed. The situation has caused grave stress for Demi Moore.

She has also reportedly been dealing with some substance abuse issues in addition to suffering from anorexia.
