Weird: Mayor pulls over State Trooper in South Carolina!

Okay the State Trooper started it! A South Carolina state trooper pulled over Jim Preacher, but Jim Preacher happened to be the Mayor of Norway, South Carolina, a small inoxious town.

After stopping the Mayor of Norway, the trooper went on his way, until Preacher turned on is lights, and the pulled the tropper over. Preacher let the trooper go, but now, the state has to decide if the Mayor was in his rights to pull over the state trooper.

He says he did it to let the trooper know how it feels. I think the Mayor should be kicked out of office. That is disrespecting authority, and he cannot just do that because he seeks revenge. Preacher admits he was speeding; he was doing 70 in a 55 mph zone, so what's the beef?

oh man he must be related to the joker here in Omaha,, he was the state senator and alway flew by cops speeding down interstate, he would tell them guys he get them fired if he could

If he does he should lose it. It's not that the state trooper did anything wrong.

Typical small town politicians. Here in my hometown our local politicans often disrgard laws we lowly citizens need to follow.

I do not see how the mayor would have the authority to pull anyone over. Also, the State Trooper works for the State not a local jurisdiction.... hence the word State before Trooper. The Mayor is a little punch drunk on power.
