The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder seemed to be a little lonely last night when he tweeted about the Nissan Leaf and later about the environment. It seems that Nina Dobrev was not there with him at the time.
Early in the evening, it was obvious that TVD star was watching some NFL football. Even during the New York Giants win, the environment was on his mind. He tweeted, "This Nissan Leaf commercial playing during this SF/NY football game is amazing.Wish more car companies thought like that. Kudos!"
A little later, Ian Somerhalder seemed to be having a tough time going to sleep, which made people think perhaps he was lonely and missing girlfriend and castmate Nina Dobrev. He tweeted a link to Environment graffiti's rare pictures of extinct animals. Accompanying the link he wrote, "still up...can't sleep dammit! Found this however-really amazing, sad but amazing. Should inspire to protect what we have"
It is obvious that the star was feeling environmentally aware last night, and good for him for spotlighting this important issue with his tweets. What do you think? Were he and Nina Dobrev apart for the night?
