I was watching Austin City Limits yesterday and Fleet Foxes was on -- they're great and remind me of the old America (mellow folk-rock) band. Also they had a lady on who played a harp, and that was interesting. Thanks for posting this!

Nice pictures and I like the way you altered them throughout. With my lousy eyesight, I had trouble reading most of the captions, but the ones I saw were great.

so glad you enjoyed this. The slide show I did in August 2010, but the music makes t so much better. Have a few others I added music to last night and will be posting them during the winter doldrums...

yes, a synthesized version of a pan flute. Originally by the group Keene. A delightful song. The music really adds texture and vibrancy and context to the photos. I made the entire series of Montreal with music, and Tybee beach and Canobie Lake, also. on my channel. kathryneo on youtube.

The music really brings all other textures to life. I did the images 18 months ago, but the music really, really makes it. YouTube has a huge library of licensed music = customized to the length of your video and in a very wide range of musical types. About 100 came up on a single search.

The music really makes everything come alive. I made the slide show in 2010, and it was quite fun, but the music oh la la.. This is the first of three in the Montreal Soul series and I have 2 others on my channel with music... So much fun to choose music from the YouTube licensed selections.

I used the Fairmount Bagel as my background on my YouTube channel just to give you more impetus. kathryneo YouTube. And there are videos of the two bagel factories there; St.Viatur and Fairmount. Great to watch them make bagels.

When I was a kid in the Bronx and on the way to the movies we often stopped in a basement bagel factory, (Not Bakery) and watched them at work. We chose one fresh out of the oven and gingerly munched on it while on the long walk. Best done in the heart of winter.

One of my favorite memories.

you would love fairmount or st. viatur; they still make them that way.. out of the flame oven... loose fire codes in montreal. people come from ny, ont, b.c.... ma... for the montreal bagels..
