Bruce Springsteen's new single drops tomorrow! The song, "We Take Care of Our Own," is the first single from the Boss' highly anticipated new album. Fans can download the song on Amazon.com. Unfortunately, there's no preview available, so it's hard to know what to expect. Either way, this is fantastic news. 2012 promises to be a banner year for Springsteen, with a new E Street Band tour and a new album.
News that Springsteen's "We Take Care of Our Own" would be available on Amazon.com on Thursday quickly spread as fans checked out the link for the digital release. Now the question becomes, what will Bruce Springsteen's new album sound like? Longtime Springsteen manager Jon Landau is quoted by Rolling Stone magazine as saying that the album is a "big-picture piece of work. It's a rock record that combines elements of both Bruce's classic sound and his Seeger Sessions experience, with new textures and styles."
Remarkably, no leaks have surfaced of "We Take Care of Our Own." Bruce Springsteen's camp is doing a bang-up job in preventing this, no doubt. Fans are eager to get their hands (or ears) on the new material. Fortunately, they only have a few more hours to wait!
