The Walking Dead season 2 returns on February 12 with episode 8, "Nebraska," and while the survivors will still have walkers to worry about, spoilers reveal they have another problem to consider.
Walking Dead season 2 episode 8 "Nebraska" spoilers
While the newest sneak peek (here) shows Rick and Hershel having an encounter with some new characters, TV Guide has some spoilers about what's coming up. Executive producer Robert Kirkman has revealed, "While Hershel's suffering this loss of hope and trying to deal with these problems, it actually leads us into a new threat and causes the group to encounter something very dangerous that will be an exciting element in the new half of the season." Apparently those new characters are "the new threat," and it's just going to add to everything else on the survivors' plates. Hershel's pretty much over any possibility of letting them stay after the barn massacre, but could whatever this "new threat" ends up being change his mind about that?
Yes, zombies are still a problem, but sometimes, people can be just as scary too, especially when thrown into a situation like the one the survivors are in. It's basically survival of the fittest and fastest, and sometimes people will do just about anything to keep living (just look at Shane shooting Otis). So what will this new threat bring for the others? Could they at least be what leads to a truce between Rick and Hershel for now?
