MERYL STREEP accidentally cursed in the middle of her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes!
Yikes.

It just goes to show that even someone as classy and regal as Meryl Streep can still end up getting bleeped at an awards show.
If you didn't already know, Meryl won the award for "Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama" at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday for her work in "The Iron Lady." But in her haste to get up on stage and accept her award, the 62-year-old actress forgot to bring her reading glasses, which of course she needed to be able to read her carefully prepared acceptance speech.
When Meryl finally realized that she had left her glasses at the table, the actress exclaimed:
“Oh, sh*t! My glasses!”
Disconcerted but determined, Meryl immediately recovered and proceeded to recite her speech from memory… and it was beautiful and sincere, glasses or no glasses.
She later told reporters backstage:
“I can’t believe I said ‘sh-t on TV… I had such a good speech and I couldn’t see it. Even if you held it in the front row, I couldn’t read it because I left my glasses at the table.”
Don't worry Meryl, it happens to everyone! Oh, and congratulations on your zillionth Golden Globes award!
