Could Colbert beat Huntsman in South Carolina?

Indeed, Stephen Colbert must be stopped. He is unamerican- he says out loud the things that other Republican candidates merely imply. And he does it all through the fundraising deceit of using a SuperPAC- perverting the wonderful gift that the Supreme Court conservatives faction gave to America in the thrilling and brilliant Citizens United case!

We must destroy this man before he skews the entire primary system by beating Jon Huntsman in South Carolina!

Don't let him get 5% of the vote in SC!

I got a great chuckle out of the guy's article.

And a great fear that Colbert has so accurately captured the insidiousness of the current tea party infused Republican party.

I have to wonder how many of Colbert's fans actually get the joke. I understand that there are some conservatives who like him because they actually think he is serious.
I admit that he does tongue-in-cheek better than anyone else alive, but still- how dumb can you get??!!

And don't forget his successful "keep fear alive" rally right in our nation's capital! With all of the influential people he has had on his show, he has all the contacts he needs to take over, with pictorial evidence of him smiling and shaking hands with powerful movers and shakers from across the political spectrum, without having to resort to photo-shop! He is a force to be reckoned with!

I think Colbert would be an ideal presidential candidate. He's smarter than most of the others. He can ad lib. He'll say absolutely anything as long as it panders to his audience. He's had a super PAC for a long time.

I do miss Pat Paulson.
