Philadelphia Mayor Nutter says of three 14-year-old shooting victims that their "little butts" should have been in bed. The three kids came to a house for trouble and that's what they got. They are all three dead, and the 16-year-old driver of the car was grazed.
The step-father of the intended victim of these teens waited for them to come to the house and he opened fire kiling three teens and wounding the other. The step father was arrested. It is unfortunate that the step father has to pay for protecting his family.
As for Mayor Nutter, he is frustrated and angry at the situation. Those teens have parents, too. Shouldn't those parents of the teens be responsible. I have a teen daughter who used to like to go out in the middle of the night. I alarmed her windows, and alarmed my house. I put cameras around my house and disconnected the garage between midnight and six a.m.
We as parents have a big responsiblity in safeguarding are young teenagers. They are so easily caught up in gangs. Even if you think that your teen is not a "little butts" beware, and listen to Mayor Nutter.
