The 2012 Consumer Electronics Show is underway in Las Vegas, and gadget lovers are eager to learn about upcoming Smartphones. It's expected that this year's gadgets will be "bigger and faster" as leading wireless providers race to push more 4G devices to market. Sounds like there will be a lot of techies hanging on every word as announcements spill in about new Smartphones in 2012.
Motorola says they plan to release an Android Intel Smartphone which will feature a new Atom Z2460, a 1.6-gigahertz CPU. Not a lot is known about this handset, as it seems both Motorola and Intel are keeping details under lock and key.
While AT&T is expected to showcase a growing 4G line; other wireless providers have already bee
n there, and done that. For instance, last year Verizon Wireless introduced the LG Revolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, and the somewhat disappointing HTC Thunderbolt. They seemed to have made up for that mishap with newer 4G devices, such as the Motorola Droid Bionic, and the Motorola Droid Razr, so it seems all is forgiven. It'll be interesting to see what Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile bring to the table.
Will you be buying a new Smartphone in 2012? If so, what sort of features are you most looking forward to?
