Another one of those postings that should have been done weeks ago, lol.
For the first time ever, my son remembered me at Christmas by himself. No instructions from anyone. I was so impressed that a teen boy would even come up with the idea, much less spend his allowance money. Apparently my son decided he needed to get me something and used all his own money on me. I was so proud, and shocked. lol He looked me dead in the eye one Christmas morning, said Merry Christmas mom, and handed me the cutest pink gift bag. Jeffrey had this sneaky smile. so I knew he was proud of what he picked. In true mom fashion, I told him to open his things first. After that, I carefully opened the little pink bag, and to my utter surprise.....my teen son had picked out a beautiful solid silver leopard bracelet cuff! I about died when I saw what my child had gotten me all on his own. I cried as he put it on my wrist, and I had to know why he spent so much on me. As this precious red head boy looked in my eyes.....he said it was for all I had sacrificed for him over his life. He said he knew I needed jeans, or pain meds, or a new winter coat and had gone without for him.. He then proceeded to make me cry harder by saying how proud he was of me for going to college to get a job where I no longer have to kill myself to make money. I was floored!! All this time, I never thought he even saw what I did for my family. Children can really shock you about how much they actually know. I am so proud!! Here are the pics of my gorgeous bracelet from my awesome son! (He is 13).

What a Wonderful Gift He got You! :)
Just him noticing my struggles when others kids his age in our neighborhood act horrid, I am so proud.
Reminds me of the time aid and I pooled our money, with a bit of help from our "Morfar" and surprised Mom with sapphires.
