NORMA' S THURSDAY CAFE JAN. 12~ SADIE FILLING...

Good Morning All, Welcome to Norma's Cafe where everyone can stop in for a beverage, maybe a treat and a nice warm place to visit. Norma's is open 24/7 , never closes. I am filling in for Norma, at her request, until she is feeling better so I hope you will all stop by to wish her well.

It was 12 degrees when I got up and is snowing here in SE Iowa. We have had about 2+ inches of snow so far but it is supposed to snow all day and the wind is moving it around. Quite a change from yesterdays 55 degrees that set a record. I have to go to school to volunteer this morning so hope it doesn't get too bad out. I also have a 1:30 apppointment for a haircut and it is about 6 miles from me. I don't worry about me driving, but everyone else's behavior on the road.

The wood stove has it all nice an cozy in the cafe and the coffee is fresh and hot.

Come on in and sit a spell and tell us about your day.

The weather has been quite crazy everywhere! Be careful out on the road today. I think it is supposed to be 65 today here! You are doing a wonderful job w/ the cafe....those sticky buns look darn good!

Thanks Debbie. I want everyone of Norma's friends to feel like they still have a place to visit until she is feeling better. We can complain about the weather because it has not been wintery up til now and January is almost half over.

It does sound like you are getting some nasty weather. It is Cold and Dreary here Today and they are saying we are expected to get a couple inches of Snow Today also.

That was yesterday Norma. I was supposed to have school and a haircut today but I cancelled both because of the bad weather we are having.
Leave your cafe up and I hope everyone will go there.
