Yes, we had a cb radio stolen... out of our car... the worst part was the broken window... in New Jersey. In New York we had tools stolen out of our car, again they broke a window. In Pennsylvania we had a whole pile of slate that was put there on the corner of our property to keep the ground from washing out to the street... which was really something.

Fortunately no one has ever entered my home without permission except for a police officer... who ran through my home into the living room and demanded to know what was "Going on"... It was 2 in the morning and I had just fixed a meal for my son and his coworkers who worked for a restaurant. I was on the couch covered in a blanket... and said "I'm watching a Bette Midler movie "For the boys"... and he got nasty..so I pointed to my tv set. He demanded to know what was going on in the next room and I said, "My husband is sleeping in there, I can wake him up if you like" I think when he realized he had gotten false information... he calmed down and asked me why I had "company" in the middle of the night. I told him my son was invited to go to a 24 hour diner with his coworkers after work a a local restaurant...and because he was a teenager, I didn't like that idea and invited them all to my home. He said I was a good mother and left. I have to admit... he scared me.

That is awful, too.

It is more like the kids will have a a friend over and things like jewlery, makeup, electronics, games, music, and for some reason packages of feminine napkins are stolen.

Yeah, that happened to my daughter.

been robbed often I used to work at a convinent store.. then once someone jump in my truck when I was driving,, I pulled over and ask him to leave he refuse so I kick the hell out of,, broke his jaw and everything,, even my window,, someone stop and we got ahold of police,, when someone went to er with a broken jaw he got busted..

I had someone get into my car once... I was in a line of traffic in the left hand turn lane at a light and I looked at him in shock... and before I could say anything...he said, "Oops, I made a mistake..." and he got out and ran. Was a very bizarre event... and I was glad he ran. I made sure I kept my car doors locked after that.

You did the right thing Carol. I was robbed once when I managed an electronics store. The guy came in and picked out a tv/vcr combo and then said "give me a radar detector" I showed him one and he said he would take it. When I told him the price of what he seemed to be buying he told me I didn't understand "I said I would take it and give me all the money in your cash register" He pulled out a 357 and pointed it at me. I gave him all he wanted. He took me to the back room and told me to go in the bathroom and stay there for five minutes. I asked if I could take my lunch with me so I could eat it. He said yes. In the bathroom I got a little baretts 32 auto out of my lunch box and heard him go out the back door. I followed and found him loading his loot on a motor cycle. I captured him, took his pistol and took him back into the store where I called the cops. He was found guilty of course and never denied what he did. I don't know what kind of sentence he got but my testamony put his behind where it belonged. He told his attorney I came out the back door with the littlest bitty gun he had ever seen.

No thank goodness. Not unless you count borrowing and not paying back. I count that as stealing but not a robbery.

Yes. I was at work and came home to my house being burglarized. It scared me to death.

yes...back in 1986 when we lived in a huge apt. complex is OKC. We came back to Kansas for my cousins funeral. He was just 21 and had been stabbed to death 21 times over drugs. Only about 2 people knew we were going to be gone for days. We came back to find the front door broken in and the tv, stereo, video game system and computer gone.
