Is Michelle Obama an angry black woman? How do you see Michelle Obama. She is tired of being seen as an angry black woman and claims she is tired of the stereotype. Is this a campaign tactic or do you think as I do that there is some truth to the claim.
First, it is not a stereotype. I think Michelle Obama earned her title by going to the Rev. Wright's church, and when she commented about her first time she believed in America. Americans needed to elect her husband as President for her to believe in the America that made her First Lady?
There is a book out that describes Mrs. Obama as angry and that she hates white people. I don't think that's true but I do think she is or was angry. Seriously, what does she have to be angry about in America? She lives better than everyone else, has her own Secret Service, dresses like a princess, and vacations more often than anyone I know.
So what do you think?

The typical response of progressives is 'hater' when they are faced with a truth they wish wasn't.
Yes. I'd say she's angry. Not for herself, necessarily. But for a people. A people who can only recently say that they're not the targets of lynchings (although racially motivated violence still happens on a fairly regular basis). You're right to say that things are getting better for African Americans, Carol. But the relationship has been poisoned by so many years of doubts and suspicions and violence and bad behavior, that it's hard to ignore all problems. That's not to say that they themselves are blameless in the situation, but, of course, anger at one's self is the most insidious of all. Their shame and self-anger is also a huge component in the problem.
It's not that hard to victimize someone. It's very hard for them to overcome being a victim.
On the racially motivated violence, take a look at the 'hate crimes' statistics from the DoJ.
Your denial that African Americans have anything to complain about is itself offensive. Obviously, you are no student of history and are simply a frustrated white man, angry that AA exists. Is AA perfect? No. And, just like everything else, it can and has been abused. But that doesn't mean that African Americans have it easy, and your offhanded dismissal is just ludicrous.
Lynchings. Seriously. Hanging a man because of the color of his skin. Jim Crow. Seriously. The attitudes that lingered long after those things were made illegal (and then a whole new round of new enforcement had to be affected because those same people were studiously ignoring the laws).
Have you ever lived with a victim of abuse? Seen how hard they work to never be a victim?
Besides, one could easily confuse Angry Black Women with Angry Birds. I just can’t see the First Lady getting into a sling to hurl herself against the Republicans. Can you?
