Chalk up another one for the Progressives, this time in the education field. It seems they have some new guidelines for the sexual education programs in the public schools. These include making sure elementary students know its okay to be homosexual, that families with two dads or two moms is okay and that it is okay to have sex as soon as you would like.
Once again, they are trying to drop morality and Christian values from every facet of American life. In true Progressive style, they want to make what was once wrong right and what was once right wrong, all in the name of progress.
Earlier today, Pope Benedict referring to same-sex marriage, but it also applies to policies like the one proposed:
"This is not a simple social convention, but rather the fundamental cell of every society. Consequently, policies which undermine the family threaten human dignity and the future of humanity itself," he said - Catholic Online
He is right. It is certainly a scientific fact that two men or two women cannot procreate, therefore if no one is able to procreate, would not the human race become extinct? And of course, if someone should happen to mess up and actually get pregnant, there is always that old favorite, abortion.
Both Pope Benedict and Valerie Huber, executive director of the National Education Abstinence Association, agree on one thing, this type of education should be left to the parents.
"This should be a program about health, rather than agendas that have nothing to do with optimal sexual health decision-making," Huber said. "Controversial topics are best reserved for conversations between parent and child, not in the classroom." - Worcester Telegram
Of course, the Progressives have already come a long way in eliminating families from the equation already.

While Jesus did not directly say anything against homosexuality, there are several references in the New Testament letters, 1 COR 6: 9 - 11, Romans 1: 24 - 27 and 1 TIM 1 : 10 are three. While not quotes by Jesus, they were written by his apostles and it is generally believed they taugh from his teachings.
Jesus also preached that the Old Testament was God's law, therefore when it is talked of in the Old Testament as wrong, Jesus beleived that as well.
Jesus was very critical re: the institutional practices of his day. This was one example. He always emphasized people over institutions - including the "law".

One of Jesus' favorite teaching phrases was (paraphrase), "You've heard it said..., but I say to you...." He transcended the old law often and pervasively.

The left is NOT promoting gay!!! It just doesn't want psychos to treat gays differently! At a sex ed class I attended with my young son, the teacher told us of how a young boy KILLED himself because he could NOT accept he was gay!
But I say he did NOT kill himself, he was murdered by sickos like Paul Roy who force his brand of Christianity on the "idolaters"
