Coachella 2012 headliners lineup leaked early and will include Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Radiohead, which makes the festival appealing to a wide audience. Also, the Black Keys are in the lineup. Unfortunately, tickets for the event are not on sale early even with the leaked details.
The good news is that the passes for $285 will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. They are good for the three-day festival for one of the weekends. Coachella 2012 will be on April 13-15 and again from April 20-22 with identical lineups each weekend, which is the first time it has been arranged this way, and it should mean plenty of passes will be available.
Most fans of the festival feel like the lineup is amazingly good, which sent them running for details, which of course crashed the official website. Even though some tickets went on sale in June 2011 for a week well before the lineup was leaked, there are sure to be plenty available when they go on sale again this Friday at 10 a.m.
Just one of the nights, Saturday, is sure to be worth the entire $285 (plus fees) price of admission with Radiohead headlining and Bon Iver, Jeff Mangum and noIse instrumentalists Godspeed You Black Emperor on the roster for the evening. Then, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg will close down the festival on Sunday night. What a time to attend Coachella! Will you be going in 2012?
"Cause I'm a creep. I'm a weirdo. What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here." Perhaps that can get you through until April.
