Is Kendall Jenner setting a bad example for other young people? A recent tweet about her attitude toward school has some wondering just that. Should the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star show a bit more restraint in her tweets because of her high-profile image?
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Kendall, who is 16 and a high school student, recently tweeted the following to her more than 2 million Twitter followers.
"School blows," she tweeted on Tuesday.
Fortunately big sister Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend Scott Disick called her out on her tweet, urging her to use a bit more caution when sending messages to her followers.
"Take it easy talking like that," Disick told her.
And that may actually be one of very few commendable things Scott Disick has done. Noted for being rather arrogant and often difficult to get along with—at least this time his "words of wisdom" make perfect sense.
Lots of young people, both boys and girls, look up to Kendall Jenner. It would be a shame if her poor attitude toward school became their philosophy as well. Sure, everyone has days when they really wish they were someone other than in school, but Kendall is in a position to instill positive thoughts about education, rather than these negative ones.
Do you think it's Kendall Jenner's responsibility as a celebrity to at least attempt to pass along positive words about attending school and getting an education instead of making it sound awful?
It would be interesting to look what her sisters, Khloe, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian might have to say about Kendall following this recent tweet.
What's your opinion of the whole situation?
