In the closest and most exciting primary election in recent history, Mitt Romney won the Iowa Caucus early this morning by the slimmest margin on record for a Republican primary or caucus. Capturing Iowa by just 8 votes over Rick Santorum, Romney had to wait until 2am to celebrate. Due to a missing precinct, the entire caucus came down to the results of one single ‘lost’ vote total.
