Ron Paul has not yet ruled out a 3rd Party run, but at least one of his best supporters is encouraging him not to. Rand Paul warned in a New Hampshire radio interview that Ron Paul running as a third party candidate would be a bad idea. Citing Perot’s failure and the TEA Party’s commitment to reforming the Republican party, Rand suggested that a Ron Paul 3rd party run would mean an easy Barack Obama victory in 2012.

Paul Hints at Third-Party Run If Not Nominated
Ron Paul has not ruled out a third-party candidacy if he loses the GOP nomination for president, the Texas congressman said on CNN’s “State of the Union” today.
“I have no intention of doing it,” Paul said. “Nobody’s particularly asked me to do it. And they know what I’m doing, and I have no plans whatsoever to do it.”
A third-party run might not be as disastrous for his campaign as he previously thought, he said.
“I don’t think it would doom it,” he said. “It would cause a little bit of a problem.”
Last week, Paul said a bid for the White House as anything other than a Republican might undercut his chances for election."
Maybe I’m dumb as a box of rocks but I don’t seen ANY hint from Ron Paul concerning a third party run.
Regardless as the box that you may be as dumb as, I am simply going by the fact that Ron paul has refused to rule out running as a third Party candidate.
But I have come to conclude that I hoipe he does becuase in the end, I believe he will take more votes away from liberals disilusined by President Obama and the Occupy hippies who love wasting their time.
“I have no intention of doing it,” Paul said. “Nobody’s particularly asked me to do it. And they know what I’m doing, and I have no plans whatsoever to do it.”
That sounds final to me.
I am hoping he will bow out gracefully.
