Young Oklahoma mother shoots and kills intruder!

A young Oklahoma mother of a three-month-old, heard a man trying to break into her home. She pushed a couch up against the door, but when she saw he had a gun, she opened fire, killing him.

Now, isn't it wonderful she had a gun to protect herself and her baby.l She is just 18-years old and I would much rather that the bad guy is dead than she and her baby.

She will not be charged as she was defending herself and her baby. I love the fact that would-be criminals know that most people in Oklahoma are armed and therefore ready to defend themselves.

Most states now have what are called "castle laws" (a person's home is their castle) and allow you to use deadly force without being charged. There are still some backwards ones like New York, but almost every Southern State and a lot of the Northern ones have put these laws in place. Wisconsin just instated their law two weeks ago.

If she had to call 911 and wait for police to arrive, she might have been dead. She did the right thing.
