2011 Earning Stats

This is the first time I've taken the time to keep a running tab each month on a paper.

I'm a little disappointed at the grand total, I really thought it would be higher.  Definitely gives me something to work on improving this total.

Gifts Galore and More--selling my crafts, used books etc.  I actually show a profit of $199.16, which is the most I've ever made profit in a year.   I do have to thank a lot of friends here on gather for ordering from me throughout the year.

I wasn't sure where to put Jerky Direct--I rec'd checks totaling $76.51.  This was my commission over the $13.97 a month autoship.  I've been fortunate to always have my autoship covered by my downline.  I have a question here---if I was filing this on taxes, how would I file it?  It does cost $13.97 a month to be a part of Jerky Direct, but that price includes 2 bags of jerky of my choice each month plus my store front website.   So, technically, I've made that $13.97 each month as well.

If anyone can explain this a little better, I would appreciate it.  There would be other expenses as far as a  business like ink used and card stock bought to print business cards.

Anyway....the grand total including the $76.51 from Jerky Direct is $2,145.02.

Most certainly could not live off of that!  I think this year I will keep a running total each month when I post my monthly stats.  Then I don't have all this work of adding it up at the end of the year.

I decided to go ahead an add up a total from my freebies records.  These records also include found money, refund checks, gift cards won, money made at yard sales etc along with products rec'd free.  I come up with a total for the year of $1,506.85.   Added to the $2,145.02 gives me a grand total of $3,651.87 for the year.
