And Happy New Year. I'll be back this week - took a two week hiatus because with hubby home I can't do anything worth doing. Lucky I even got a tree up and decorated. Our first Christmas in our new home! Will post photos once hubby is back to work and I have a few minutes.
Also, my writing at home jobs are increasing - I will be writing an ebook this week along with several other paid to write jobs, but I will keep the column going as long as I can.
First I mis-spell your name. . . then I make you a man! I must really think I have a lot of power within these fingers that are doing the typing. :)
Will you forgive me? Again?
Sounds like things are going rather well for you. I am so glad to hear that.
I miss you and Reba on gather. I do hope you are both doing ok. Are you still working long hours? How is the weather down there in Kentucky?
We got hit with a snow storm so it is not only cold but snowing as well. Not a good time to be on the roads around here.
Weather up to today has been warm for this time of year. Suppose to warm up again around midweek or so. Around mid 50's. A couple of days ago it made it to 61 degrees. Weather sure has been kooky. Had snow last week.

Thank you, John, but I think the biggest asset Gather has is the individual writers such as you who regularly contribute. Without you, there would be no writing community.
I agree, Len is a really asset and we are very fortunate to have him in our midst. I always look forward to his tutorials as well as his weekly prompts in the WE group. He is so knowledgeable and shares that knowledge so freely.
I agree that the writers in the Gather community are amazing. They range from beginners to seasoned writers and all are equally important in my eyes. I do try to spotlight those who write and host live chats with those who are published.
With this in mind, I still think you are a major asset and I am glad you are in the Gather community. Thank you for those selfless hours you spend to attempt to educate us. :)
Your prompts are always interesting and engaging. My goal is to attempt to get more members to participate in the group this year.
This is the first New Years that Roger and I have spent together for years. He usually calls me from work at midnight from work and we wish each other "Happy New Year". We spend the last minute or two on one year and the first minute or so of the next year on the phone together. This year, he was home and it was "GREAT!!".
I do hope you got to celebrate your anniversary, even if it was late. :)
I have had Pneumonia several times. It can do damage to your lungs so be very careful. I know how it makes your chest hurt. Take care and Happy New Year.
Elsie, I am so glad to hear you are doing better!
Don't try to rush things. Take it easy a few more days. I am glad you are on the mend though. How was your New Year celebration?
baby and me, and we all went to bed at 12:05 AM. Heading there now, love, Elsie
I would also like to thank all of the people who gave their time & experience in the weekly posts throughout 2011. I have learned many things this year that are coming in handing in my everyday life. I can drive better in the snow, I know more medical or home remedies that I can apply everyday. I know I am taking better pictures because now we all can see what I was going for when I pushed the button, I know that my home is safer because of the change or checking of the smoke alarms in our home. I have met some great new friends and gotten some really good advise on everyday things. Thanks so much for all that you do here as I enjoy reading about areas that I will never be able to visit, great buys you guys get and the good advise on other sites.
Here's hoping 2012 on Gather will continue to be a success.
