Singer John Legend is engaged to his girlfriend, model Chrissy Teigen. The R&B star proposed just recently according to reports.
One report from OMG! Yahoo! says that Legend's publicist informed everyone that Legend proposed to Teigen in the Maldives just recently. For those wondering, Teigen appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue just last year, where she was named "rookie of the year."
Chrissy Teigen also has her own food blog she writes, and has a Twitter account with over 80,000 followers. She tweeted just recently about another special event coming up when she said:
330am, headed to the airport, homeward bound! and let us not forget mister @johnlegend was born today!! Er tomorrow for you...
That's right Legend turns 33 years old on Wednesday and will have plenty to celebrate. Not only is he a year older and wiser, but he will be celebrating an upcoming marriage. It seems like a win-win for both sides in this one, as Legend gets a rising star in the world of models, and Chrissy gets an award-winning singer/songwriter who croons love songs.
