Wishes and Wants

Let me first say that I want to wish everyone a Glorious Holiday and a magnificent New Year. Peace and happiness to everyone.

Now for the "want."

I want my computer :( A few days ago, I booted up, went to get coffee and such, and when I came back to the computer, the computer screen was still looking just the same. To make a long story short, the dadgum Windows would not load. When Windows finally loaded and my start up screen looked normal...NOTHING would open.

I tried starting Windows in Safe Mode, but nada.

Good thing I have a warranty...my computer is only 6 months old. I manage to grab a few minutes on Ed's computer to write this, but until after my visit to the Geek Squad on Monday, I assume you won't see much of me.

I feel your pain. It seems the more they invent in the tech world the worse it gets. My computer's sound system failed to work right after the warranty ran out.

Merry Christmas to you and your family! What a bummer, though, to have a "dead" computer, especially at Christmas time......hopefully, you can get it fixed after Christmas. We're getting ready to leave for church to celebrate Christmas, then, out to eat, maybe at Cracker Barrel.
I have the VERY best gift of all.....the miracle of having our husband/dad with us this Christmas......couldn't ask for more!

I have a lot more wants now that some of the big ones were granted. We were on edge for months with my dads surgery. This is the first year ever that there will be nothing under the tree but we got all the kids glasses, new coats, boots, and plan on a nice dinner.
