Music stars Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj have found themselves on a Top 10 list for "Most Popular Hip Hop Singles of the Week." That's right, JB's freestyle skills have landed him on a list with other credible rappers.
This past week, a Justin Bieber freestyle hit the internet via YouTube from his flow over the Notorious B.I.G. beat for "Who Shot Ya?" It became popular enough to land JB at the #1 spot on a top 10 list for the past week's hip hop singles. Nicki Minaj got on the list for her newest song which disses Lil Kim called "Stupid Hoe." The catchy song has received mixed criticism so far.
Slaughterhouse delivers with their "Funkmaster Flex Freestyle" at #2. Fabolous featuring Meek Mill with "You Don't Know" arrives at #3 on the list. The songs "Talk to Me" by Young Jeezy with Freddie Gibbs and Eminem, along with Big Sean's "Keep it G" round out the top 5. Another on the list at #8 is Pusha T with a "Sweet" diss track aimed towards Drake. The Pink Barbie, Nicki Minaj, was at the 7 spot.
Slaughterhouse might want to consider one of two things. First, they could consider talking about Justin Bieber in their next freestyle, to get the top spot. Or, they could just find a way to get him on a track with them to ensure they get top spot. It seems this group of credible hip hop stars, including Joe Budden and Royce da 5'9, should take exception that a pop singer like JB is ranked above them with a freestyle this week!
