Since making a surprise return to the WWE in January, Kevin Nash has been in and out of the spotlight. The WWE Talent Relations committee have been a little nervous about putting Nash into the ring in a performing role, he has been on the microphone several times but never competed in a proper match. Nash got his big opportunity at last night's TLC PPV but left the ring in a very bad state, causing Nash to "retire" from all in ring action. An article on WWE.com has suggested that his injuries are healable but Nash himself has said on various social networking websites that his wrestling days are over for good.
There will be much more on this to come.
Mark Henry has been the number one heel in the WWE for the last few months. After finally winning the World Heavyweight Championship, Henry has gone from strength to strength on Smackdown and has become widely known as the number one bad guy in the WWE. It has been reported that the reason for Henry dropping the World Heavyweight Championship to Big Show, followed by Daniel Bryan, was because he had suffered an injury. Henry has suffered from a legitimate injury which has made his movement in the ring extremely limited, as seen at TLC last night. WWE had planned to have Henry hold the title for a very long time so with this injury, Henry could well be right back where he started at the back of the line.
