Someone should tell Miley Cyrus that she give up the term "role model" when she gave up Hannah Montana. Miley has actually had the nerve to come out and say that she thinks she is a role model for girls. Sadly, many are not seeing the same thing that Cyrus seems to see in herself.
So, what gives? Miley Cyrus tells it how it is:
I take being a role model very seriously and that's why I try so hard to relate to my fans. I'm not here to be something that I'm not. I feel like I can help them go through whatever it is they are going through and they can help me too.
Stop the presses... She takes being a role model "very seriously?" Somehow, Miley forgot that when she laughed about being a junky and casually smoking pot on her birthday. Oh, and the plunging necklines at a gala event that cause every tabloid to say she had a boob job? That is clearly role model material.
Quick, parents! Cover your young girls' ears and eyes; Miley is talking again! If Miley Cyrus were serious about being a role model for young fans, she would cut out the rebellious act and start acting like a civilized human, not just some brat, punk teenager.

she has done more good then bad, she is just being herself to the world thats a bad thing.
everyone makes mistakes, and we learn from them. she isn't a rebel, she just being a teenager and there isn't anything wrong with, us teenagers do bad things. just because she is in the lime light and 'does something she shouldnt' so suddenly she is the baddest celebrity in this generation. Well, im sorry i can think of worse. Give the girl a brake.
Everyone always refers to her as the Hannah Montana girl, she is growing up and people look at that as breaking the law.
and im pretty sure she didnt get a boob job! hello is called they grow. ''duh''
she is a good role model in lots of different ways. just because she has made a few mistakes doesnt make her a bad role model, makes her a better person for admitting has had made thoughs mistakes and not sitting behind a computer talking crap about everyone else!
Tell me mila... would you want your 12-year-old daughter smoking bongs, drinking beer and posting it on Twitter, joking about getting high all the time.... because Miley Cyrus said it was "cool" and that she was a "role model"????
Whether you like it or not, people have the right to wear whatever they want. Skin-baring is not abnormal or wrong. At 19, Miley Cyrus is old enough to make her own decisions about clothing. It is not a crime for a woman to show her legs, stomach, back, or cleavage. This isn't the middle east and it isn't the puritan era anymore.
There are always people like you who will buy into the old-fashioned myths about women. People who assume that if a woman shows any skin below her collar bone or more than 2 inches above her knee, it must mean she's selling her body, has no self- respect, is promiscuous, or has no morals. People who think like that are narrow-minded prudes stuck in religion or in another century.
well looks like the i's have it; jst do urself a favor for us all and take this article down because you're obviously written this to get noticed; the person you're describing is only not even half but a side of miley nd if u caught up on anything other than her flaws you'll know that she'll actually got more good in her than bad; i dont get people like you; someone does something good u quickly forget and they do something bad u never forget; take the article down
