On Friday evening, we went and saw part one of Handel's Messiah, the Christmas portion, at Palma Ciea Presbyterian Church. Lots of music, there were some members of the Florida Orchestra there, and some Tampa Oratorio singers in addition to the church choir. It was a good time, I suppose. From there, we drove up Dale Mabry Highway and stopped at Barnes and Noble to have some desserts for dinner.
On Saturday, we drove over to Legoland for the morning, I took some pictures, at the mini white house, there was a santa on the roof. In fact, there were several Santas at several of the mini cities at Legoland. We had apple fries while at Legoland. That was an interesting treat. On our way to Legoland, we saw where a Dairy Queen had a special buy one sundae, get one for a penny extra, so we went back and lunch was two sundaes. It felt kind of bad that we were unable to finish the sundaes. We ended up throwing about half of each sundae away.
We then drove to Downtown Disney. We wanted to go check out the Waldorf Astoria's Christmas display, but instead we rode the disney transportation system to Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and saw the atriums of a couple of buildings, and walked along some paths. It was pretty cool.
