Mariah Yeater dominated headlines for much of November when she stunned everyone by claiming Justin Bieber was the father of her baby. The interest in Yeater has calmed down and many people simply assume that she fabricated the story. Now her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Powell (who was named as a possible father of the child), is speaking from prison and makes some startling claims about Yeater and the elaborate story that she weaved.
Yeater claims to have met Justin Bieber backstage after one of his concerts and that the two had sex. However, Powell has a much different story saying:
"We were both homeless and living in Oceanside and Mariah was trying to make some quick money. She just picked him because she thought he was famous and all and thought she could get a lot of money by telling the magazine Justin was the father. She saw him as an opportunity to make a lot of money."
What Yeater didn't anticipate was Bieber fighting back. Although she may have made some money from the story, there is no doubt that she will be facing some repercussions if it comes back that Bieber is not the father of her child. Bieber and his team have already said that they plan to take action against her.
Shockingly, Powell also said:
"I don't know, I still love her though."
Will Mariah Yeater and Robbie Powell eventually be able to put their troubles behind them and move on with their lives? Hopefully they can try to put their lives back together for the sake of the baby.
