For those that think Ron Paul is unelectable. They said the same about Truman and Jesse Ventura.
The fat lady hasn't sang yet.

But he is dead-set against foreign wars. On the whole, he is a lot more palatable than Gingrich or Romney, but I still wouldn't vote for him.
You make it sound like a good thing! ;-)
Seriously, war is to be avoided, but the US had a role to play in the world that if we did not play it the world would be a worse off place ... hard to imagine that.
Maybe a moratorium on US overseas engagement until we figure out how to do it for the sake of cleaning up the world and bringing order instead of just institutionally weaving the military-industrial complex into every aspect of our lives - which is what I think the problem is.
We will end up in some kind of conflict with Iran (I believe) but if we do not do it wisely we will just be left with an even worse sore thumb in the area, Saudi Arabia, 100x worse than Iran in reality. The US does not have any coherent foreign policy except to consolidate all economic production into a big military hierarchy for its own sake and that is toxicly wrong.
Let us hope the people are just as smart in 2012 as they were in 1948
Yeah, thanks, I had no idea, goodness gracious. What other brillant gems do you have for me so I can understand the political world that has so baffled me until I read your godlike command of politics and history.
They said the same thing about Howard Dean as well. Put a fork in Ron Paul. he's a kook.
Could you be hoping he wins so Bammy can run him over???
What you haven't really thought about is a win for Obama but a republican takeover of the Senate...GRIDLOCK...the libertarian's friend...
PS: I just checked out a few more of Mr. K's posts, he is getting close to the point. Hopefully Jo' will stop watching so much Fox & CNN, Hitler knew if you repeat lies enough they will become truths to the chattel.
