Life has never seemed to be easy for Courtney Love. If it's not one thing it's another but one wonders if she might have caused some the problems that have come her way.
Take for instance her latest difficulty; not having a place to live in New York City. She was renting a four-story townhouse for $27,000 a month and now the owner wants the singer out. Allegedly, Courtney set the house on fire and ruined the designer décor.
Owner Donna Lyon claims, according to Fox 5, that Love, "damaged the property, altering its designer interior by painting over hand-finished walls, and owes over $50,000 in rent." Wow, Courtney, for real?
Lyon goes on to say, "Courtney has wallpapered and painted a large portion of the property without my consent. I learned about this when I wanted to sell the
house and had photographs taken. They sent me the brochure, and I said, 'This can't be my property.'"
The 46-year-old Courtney Love has also been accused of painting over the walls with ice blue paint. The owner said that it could take as long as 12 weeks to restore the townhouse with a cost of up to $100,000.
Courtney will not be going down without a fight though. There's a court date set for December 21 in Manhattan's civil court.
Good luck, Courtney, and don't forget your checkbook. You'll probably need it.
