Kate Gosselin Twitter: Lashes Out over Tweets about Marathon & Her Kids

Reality television star Kate Gosselin recently lashed out after getting criticized on Twitter. Apparently, she felt the need to respond to some rather disparaging comments on the social media platform about her running marathons, tweeting, and a subject that is sensitive for Kate—her kids.

Is Kristen Stewart 'Vogue' Photoshop too Much?It seems Kate Gosselin feels the need to respond to her haters on Twitter, whereas many other celebrities just have fun and don't sweat the silly comments some people make. Kate seems to enjoy interacting on Twitter for the most part, but doesn't hesitate to speak her mind to those saying mean things. Just recently on Friday, she received the following tweet from someone criticizing her for running in a marathon:

@Kateplusmy8 Thoughts? U have NOTHING original or interesting 2 say, u r not the 1st 2 run a marathon and u r as ordinary as the rest of us.

Kate promptly responded to the comments about 25 minutes after the tweet had gone live, saying:

@mcenernymom then why do you read I wonder? Must be getting something out of my blogs! Certainly you're too busy to waste time on nonsense..

Kate also took time to respond to another comment from someone telling her "spend some time with your kids before they get taken away." Gosselin replied to that with the tweet:

@woodylong69 seriously? If u can't stand reading about our awesome and happy lives,unfollow. U are now blocked. Negativity doesnt fly here!

It's clear that Kate Gosselin has to deal with her share of fans and foes on Twitter, but most other celebrities do. Then again, the point has been raised plenty of times, is Kate Gosselin truly a celebrity? She's had kids and been on television series because she had so many kids. That helped her eventually get onto Dancing With the Stars, and now she continues to be someone that people are fascinated with. Is it all justified? Either way, Kate will likely learn to just ignore the haters like many others do on Twitter, because otherwise she's just making those random people a bit more famous!

Kate needs to permanently get off Twitter and spend time with her children. It is obvious she does not want to do either. I'm surprised the CPS has not stepped in to investigate.

I am referring to the amount of time Kate spends on Twitter when her children are at home. A good mother would not do this; spending time with their children would be the top priority. Not so with Kate. Twitter and everything else in Kate's life comes first.

The funny thing is she thinks the people making negative comments about her are actually "following" her and that she can somehow block them from her Twitter feed. She needs to learn how Twitter works. LOL And if she plans on staying in the public eye maybe grow a thicker skin. For the most part other than her 6 devoted fans people can't stand her. Her fans do her no favor when they link articles about her to her Twitter page. 99% of the comments on the articles are negative or down right make fun of her. When will she and her fans realize the joke's on her.

For professing to be a born again Christian, Kate sure can spew back some venom when criticized. People comment because they challenge her as to her concern for her kids as secondary to her own satisfaction in what SHE is showing as her priorities. Her obsession with running seems to be the new thing which once again takes her away from the kids with travel, fine dining and time with her ever so faithful "bodyguard" which by the way, how can she afford to foot that bill now that TLC isn't paying her way. It's all about her in Kate's world and she is in denial as are her deluded fans that mommyhood is her first priority.

Hmmm, could she possibly be running when her kids are in school or with their dad?? I recall there is a much forgotten commandment regarding bearing false witness. If you do not know her, do not assume and spew your opinion. You do not really know her life!!

Hmm Juanita - read the first sentence of your post and subsitute your name. Unless you are saying you are not a Christian. I just think hating on people in general is not what Jesus would want us to do. If Jesus was in front of you would you go on about people in this way??

Actually, if you present yourself to the public and want to have a "following," people can, and will, form any opinion they want. The purpose of comments is to express those opinions. This is not Kate's fan page. The fact she calls those that criticize her "haters" is another form of self glorification. She is not worthy of such rancor anymore than she is worthy of unchecked admiration. I do marvel at all these reports on her absolutely mundane life. She was a flash in the pan based on the freakish nature of reality TV and now she thinks she is some sort of celebrity. Oddly, she seems oblivious, or keenly aware, that negative "press" is what keeps her in the public eye. Nothing new there, but most people with a lick of self-respect would have pulled out of a show that was getting ratings based on the failure of their marriage. I can't fathom how any parent thinks their children would benefit from such public personal trauma and all to make money. She is one twisted egomaniac.

Chrissy, I do know her. Bearing false witness is what you are doing because you are calling me a liar. She went to my church and was difficult to deal with there, unfriendly and demanding. You will see her in stores around here doing the same. Insisting to be at the front of the line and when other customers complained she said they were just jelus. Her life is cushy so don't try to make others believe differently. On Twitter she openly is proving she is accepting gifts from strangers when other celebs tell their fans to send them instead to the needy. See is plain and simple a moocher and grifter and so was her old man when they were together. She uses her kids as a pity ploy but it all comes back to it is ALL ABOUT HER. Stop being in denial like the rest of her few deluded fans. Most of her Twitter followers are just nosepokes.

By the way, she has been seen running when her kids are home, my friend is her neighbor.. remember she hides how much she uses babysitters and she still has the bodyguard she can afford while still moaning about a tight budget. That coupon blog doesn't pay squat. They can't, they are a very small homegrown outfit. I got the scoop from someone at the hotel they met at in Reading, PA when Coupon Cabin cane to see her. They are all young under 30 years old if that.

I don't know either but Jon sure seems to have matured this past year - working, providing some stability for the children. Not living off their money - he is paying child support. and I believe Juanita as far as Kate goes.

A friend of mine worked at the hospital when Kate was working in L&D. She had a reputation then for being rude, nasty to patients, and difficult to deal with. No one was sorry to see the back of her when she left there.

Kate responds to her critics because she doesn't have an ounce of class. She's delusional and thinks she is better than everyone else. There is nothing special about her. She fails at everything she tries. She may say winning is finishing a marathon but reality is she didn't finish in the time allotted for good runners. She has burned tons of bridges over the years by acting rude and entitled. Her lack of class shines through when she bashes the childrens father every chance she gets. She grifts for everything free she can get her hands on including accepting gifts from young people who can't afford them. One teen from Europe tweeted how shocked she was at the postage to send Kates gifts oversees. Kate encourages these people to send her gifts by giving them her address then has to practically begged by them for recognition that she recieved them. Everything is about Kate. No matter what the subject she turns it around into how it affects her. She has no morals monopolizing a married man's time away from his wife and family if she hasn't already broken that up too. Steve is her puppet and feeds her bad behavior. Kate Gosselin is one the most hated women in this country and she brought it all on herself. She could have had it made for life if it weren't for her rude, entitled behavior. I for one will stick around for as long as it takes to watch this woman get what she deserves.

Such a good read! With the exception of Chrissie, I found all comments totally uplifting in that I agree with them, totally. Juanita's and Dee's were particularly informative in that these people know her, or of her, on a personal level. Nothing surprised me...her nastiness, self-centredness, selfishness and her consistent lying are all typical hallmarks. They were evident on the shows, both with Jon and without. And since its demise, my following of her just increased the awareness of all her faults. I follow now because I am eager to read anything negative about her...reinforcing my views. I can always tell when "Effie" is writing because the clues are so enthusiastically pro-Kate. These I do not read...pointless, and my ire is increased. I do hope she gets what she deserves...a life with which she has to contend without aid. Just as we normals do. I lust after the thought of her being forced to leave her mansion, her "helpers", and sports car behind.

She is obsessed with her phone. Every photo of her shows her holding her phone in her hand. She doesn't even bother to put it in an outside pocket of her purse. It's ALWAYS in her hand. Instead of tweeting while her kids are sick, why doesn't she read to them?

Holly, I especially like the one time when in her local area she was leaving a store and to avoid eye contact with the Paps she pretended she was talking on her cell phone and it rang LOL. Mine beeps silently when another call comes in. She must have a "special" phone just like her special.
