Being in front of cameras is nothing new to Kris Humphries. In his first interview after the public divorce with Kim Kardashian, the NBA center says he's focused on the business of basketball. Is it the truth or just the company line?
Humphries talks divorce and NBA on Good Morning America
Kris appeared in good spirits when he appeared on television for the first time since his falling out with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. He assures his fans on 'Good Morning America' that his efforts have moved past bitter sniping and regret to the hard work necessary for him to find an NBA team in free agency so he can get back to the business of basketball. No longer is he playing for Kim and for rating but now can put his talents back into fueling his charity foundation to fight childhood obesity and support his mother's baking business. Such calm coming over his personal life couldn't come at a better time because free agency will begin shortly and Kris Humphries must prepare for a team that wants to bring his ten points and ten rebounds a game to their franchise. The New Jersey Nets could re-sign him but rumors persist about the New Orleans Hornets and Denver Nuggets holding interest as well. It's interesting to wonder how different contract negotiations would have gone if Humphries and Kim were still battling publicly.
Kardashian gets frequent shout-outs from ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush
Marriages normally end on suspicion by one partner of the other. Humphries says the constant rumors surrounding his ex-wife didn't affect his decision to break up but it's hard to ignore. Kim Kardashian thrives on controversy and being in contact with former boyfriend Reggie Bush before her wedding makes up big time controversial. While that rumor went unproven, sources close to the situation say that Bush did contact Kim when news broke about the split with Humphries. Since then he's constantly checked on her via text and Skype. Reggie Bush isn't a stranger to the Kardashian drama. He endured it for two years when he played with the New Orleans Saints. Now he's resurrected his career with the Miami Dolphins. Up until recently he has steered clear of the mess Kim and Kris have made but with the turmoil fading sources think the time will come soon for him to renew the relationship with her.
Kris Humphries assures people that he's moved on from the reality TV circuit. From now on it is all about NBA basketball. Whether or not he can ignore a possible reunion between Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush is something the tabloids will drool over in the coming months.
