Do you know KIM KARDASHIAN‘s still making money off her 72-day marriage by continuing to sell the limited edition fragrance that was specially created for her wedding?
Celebrity news learned that, “Love,” with notes of jasmine, pink freesia, mimosa, tuberose, musk, and sandalwood, that had a very limited run during her August wedding, has been relaunched and will be sold in Macy’s stores nationwide and on the Internet…
Oh, the irony!
To think that her ignominiously titled wedding-inspired scent has proven to have lasted longer than her own marriage for which it was created. And to further think that it’s still going at it’s original price of $100 a pop…isn’t the $18 million she allegedly made off of her wedding enough?
“I thought it would be fun to create a special fragrance that represents this special time in my life! We've only produced 1000 bottles… one for me to wear on my wedding day, 200 for my bridal shower, and 799 for you guys!”
Kim wrote on her blog just a couple of weeks before her wedding. Does that mean the original run of 799 platinum-finish jewel-encrusted bottles numbered and signed by Kim herself has just gotten the green light to go into mass production?
“I really hope you guys love it as much as I do. I've had such a positive response to my previous two fragrances and this one means so much to be because of what it stands for… the enduring beauty of building a life with your other half and watching your love grow, each and every day.”
It seems Kim got tired of watching that love grow after 72 days. Apparently staying married isn’t as much of a money-maker as this “Love” fragrance is going to be.
