Last week, viewers saw Kris Humphries leave his new wife, Kim Kardashian on Kourtney and Kim Take New York. After seeing her with a nude yoga instruction in their hotel home, the athlete decided to return to his Minnesota roots, which meant leaving Kim Kardashian in New York with thousands of miles between them.
This wasn't a great start to a new marriage, and Kim realized that was so when she had a talk with her sister Khloe, who is married to Lakers star Lamar Odom. This Kardashian knows the difficulties of being in the same place at the same time.
So, during Sunday's episode, while the others go to the Hamptons to visit Scott Disick's family on Khloe and Kim Take New York, Kim Kardashian heads to Minnesota to see her husband.
Kris Humphries seems very happy to have his wife by his side, but as the couple discuss the future, Kris seems committed to staying in the midwest instead of returning to the Big Apple. This makes Kim cry, which makes Humphries melt (hard to believe because he seems so unsentimental most of the time), and so the two of them talk about alternatives to making their time together work--while in Manhattan.
This seems the right destination for both of them since the show was taped while it was the off season for Kris Humphries and while it was the busy season for Kim Kardashian (which is pretty much true all the time).
So, at the end of the day (and the episode), everyone returned to the Gansevoort where Kourtney and Kim Take New York takes place (for the most part). And that everyone included Kris Humphries who said he was going to try to make this hotel away from home away from his comfort zone work.

I'm thinking part of the reason why Kris left NY was that he was tired of all the cameras around and knew that the living conditions were not condusive to his relationship and career. Did he have an option to just get another place in the same hotel? Maybe not..probably because that suite they are in now, is the "reality show" suite and they HAVE to stay there. Going to Minnesota was probably his way of running away from that situation. Kim spun it around to see that her sister is her best friend and that is why they are living together. No, I don't think so.
