Senate passes National Defense Authorization Act!

The Senate passed on Thursday the National Defense Authorization Act. Conservatives are up in arms, and upset because they liken sodomy to bestiality. Once again, the government is making laws that need no interference. If two consenting adults want to have any kind of sex, what right does the government have to interfere?

It's not that I approve, but you cannot dictate a person's sexual lifestyle. It just won't work, but on the other hand, the government should not condone it. Just but out (pun intended.)

Conservatives need to concentrate their efforts in ways that they can control. It is a losing battle, and let's face it, sodomy has been going on with or without government sanctions. If we just went by the Ten Commandments, we could do away with all the laws, lawyers, and politicians.

Do what is right in all matters. There that was simple. I feel the same way about abortion. I don't want it for myself, but if someone wants to kill their own child, go ahead and knock yourself out. In the end, only the conservatives will be left because people who believe in sodomy and abortion will not procreate. See I didn't lose my mind.

Most of what the government has passed opinions, laws, rules, etc about is none of their business. The central government has gotted way off base. We the people need to cut them down to size.

The two big jobs of the central government are Trade with other nations and Defence. They can't even do those right.

The biggest problem with defense is that the federal government isn't really doing much of it at all! Instead they're involved in 130 or more countries and passing these kinds of social engineering follies. And what about all the women getting assaulted in the armed forces? I don't think there was really anything wrong with the previous "don't ask, don't tell" policy and now they're just further defining deviancy down. So where will it all end -- will we end up having a branch of the military dedicated to child abusers? Let's get the feds out of everything else other than what is specifically designated by the Constitution. It's the operating manual for the free American republic, so let's follow it back to freedom!
