Acne is produced when oil glands on your face get clogged up by dirt or dryness and form pimples. Bacteria cover these areas and cause irritation so if the acne does affect your self-esteem; it is likely to be an annoyance.

Another method may be to live healthy. Exercise regularly and drink lots of water. These things prevent you from taking too much stress and eventually keeps your skin healthier.

It is understood that once acne is formed, we are not to touch or pop it as it would only aggravate the problem as bacteria is spread and more acne is formed. It is also advisable to avoid touching your face too much under any circumstances as it makes you more likely to get pimples.
The most common remedy to heal acne is with the use of oils. Some of the oils include rose hip, sandalwood and lavender amongst others. If the person has sensitive skin, these oils may be diluted.
Applying Ice to infected areas may reduce inflammation at times. Toothpaste, on the other hand, has been reported to work wonders for some. Toothpaste which is left overnight sometimes frees the person of acne instantly! Vaseline drops have also worked for some people so the cure of acne varies person to person.
Sometimes it is best to just let the acne fade away. Too much usage of medicines and products is not good for the skin. Our bodies are designed to heal themselves so rather than exposing our skin to products which do not even work at times, it is best if we just let the pimples heal themselves.
