The first ever Big Ten Championship football game will take place tonight in Indianapolis, Indiana between the Michigan State Spartans and the Wisconsin Badgers.
This is the first year the Big Ten Conference will decide a champion by having a championship game played at a neutral site, and it is long over due! The Spartans won the Legends Division, while the Badgers won the Leaders Division and they will meet for the second time this season to determine the Big Ten champ.
Back on October 22nd, the Spartans jumped all over Wisconsin, only to see the Badgers come storming back in the 4th quarter scoring 14 points in less than seven minutes to tie the contest.
With only time for one play, MSU quarterback Kirk Cousins threw a 44-yard Hail Mary pass that was caught by #7 Keith Nichol and the Spartans won the game 37-31 in a thriller.
Will MSU be able to beat the Badgers again? Right now Wisconsin has been on a roll, winning four games in a row in impressive fashion and they surely have revenge on their minds! It's not easy beating the same team twice in one year, especially when you just faced each other only one month ago, but the Spartans are a confident bunch.
