Justin Bieber Baby Accuser to Submit for DNA Testing

Thats funny, that this Yeater girl can and might get in trouble for statutory rape if she did in fact have sex with Bieber... But if thats the case shouldnt Selena get into trouble for statutory rape as well considering her and Bieber have been having intercourse for quite some time now...??? 1. Yeater is 20 yrs old, and this took place in the state of california where the age of consent is 18 -- sex with a 16 year old is statutory rape by the state law if you're 19 or older.

2. Selena Gomez doesn't openly state that she had sex with Justin Bieber, and they're only a year apart, and live in a state where the statutory rape law doesn't prosecute when there is a year or less between people's ages.

Both Chelsea and Crystal have a point here. Courts do favor mothers most of the time in things like these, but since Mariah does have a criminal record, the baby could be taken away from her if Justin would fight for custody. But I think that if Mariah can prove that she is a fit parent NOW compared to the past, she will probably be given a chance to keep the baby, especially since Justin's touring all of the time, and in the end Justin will have to pay child support! Thats that!

But now I'm writing this whole thing, and Justin might not even be the father! But I agree with Crystal! Why the hell would this girl make this whole thing up? I don't think someone would just wake up one day in the morning, go to the police, and say: "Oh! Guess what? Justin Bieber is my baby's daddy" if she never even met Justin. No one does that for no reason! Plus, I don't think someone would do this for media attention either. This is "BAD" media attention for Mariah. She even agreed to handle things privately with Justin and his attorneys a few weeks ago, showing that she doesn't give a crud about the media anyways, so that's ruled out. And if she's such a big fan, wouldn't she not want to piss him off?

It just doesn't add up for me. And why is Justin even going for a DNA test to begin with? To prove to everyone he is not the father? If I knew a hundred percent that I was not the father, I'd tell her to f*** off and I'd ignore it.

But maybe Mariah is ignorant, and doesn't know what she is getting into. I don't know. And no one ever will, that's my opinion!

How ignorant are you? First Justin has money that could buy his way out of a real DNA, I too would demand to be present, why on earth would you make this whole thing up to meet a celebrity crush when you know that celebrity would then hate you?


Second, money does not mean any child would be taken away from their mother you ignorant moron. What the mother did in the past does not affect current parenting and you cannot call someone unfit unless you know they are neglecting their child. Sorry but that baby doesn't look neglected to me. Obviously you don't have children. Courts favor mothers, children need their mothers, not a teen douchebag with a couple million bucks.

Thank you! I read this and was irritated by the authors attempt to put celebrities above the law. Having more fame and more money is no way an indicator of what type of parent that person would be. If you could sue for full custody on the basis that you could afford a fast $5000/hr attorney, then it would appear our family courts are in no way bound to meet the best interest of the child rules... a motion taken very serious, especially in California. Granted our government can be questionable in many areas, I highly doubt they would make a mockery of their system by proving that celebrities receive special consideration solely on the basis they can shake their @$$ or lip sync their way through an album. Come on... let's think about stuff like that before you say something THAT stupid.

Some people know how family courts work, and uh, the girl with the extensive criminal record and public drug problem, oh and the video of her smoking pot around her kid -- that won't look good, in comparison to .. gee I dunno... Justin Bieber, he who has no record. Just saying.

Of course CPS fails all the time and keeps kids with their unfit mothers, that's why there are kids like Caylee Anthony (dead) and Tyler Dasher (dead) and others...

You're right, some people do know how family courts work, I happen to be one of those people. Believe it or not, a criminal record is not the ultimate deciding factor in a child custody case. If anything, she would be required to take parenting classes and self-help classes. The fact that she has been the provider for her child without any help from (Justin or whomever) thus far, holds more weight that one's history. Why? Because everyone has a past, it's what your worth is as a parent at this very moment that is considered.

Furthermore, not all criminal records deem a parent to be unfit. She hasn't killed or physically hurt someone. She wasn't committed for sexual abuse or child misconduct. If you really want to pursue her history as her qualifications of a parent, research the conditions of the crimes and how courts interpret it to her custodial rights.

Again... people tend to do well intellectually if they actually research their arguments before gracing us with blind misinformation.

I don't know a judge that would put a child with a druggie/criminal when a person with money, security, no criminal history and no drug problems could sue for custody.

Past records, yes, help back up points made in an argument, but current actions are what mostly matters. But mainly It's whoever presents a better case through strategies. Hello, its all politics and, money helps. Especially if you have a lawyer that's a brilliant strategist. I've seen and researched plenty of court cases like this in family court. Is it always the right way/decision? No, however, It's not a belief, its a valid point. Go to law school.

Eh. I highly doubt that, or else you would have stated that information before to the other comments. Or quoted lines of research from previous court cases, to help back up your arguments on unfit parenting. You certainly don't speak, act, or write like a graduate student, or else your article wouldnt sound...unrefined.--It's not that we feel or even know what will happen with this case, however, Lawyers look at both sides of an argument/situation. We can be biased, but we don't sound ignorant.

My husband and I are 7 years and 5 months to the day apart. Been together since I was a teen. Happily married both of us educated not on welfare, does that mean he deserves a label of child molester? lol well thank god I live in Canada because our age of consent is 16. At 16 I had a full time job had my own apartment and attended night school. Seems pretty adult to me. Hmmm maybe they shouldn't allow 16 year old children to drive then or allow them to smoke, because if you know any law as you claim to do it may not be legal to buy cigarettes at 16 but it sure as hell is legal to smoke them. So why is it okay for a 16 year old to live on there own, hold a job, pay bills, drive and smoke but cannot date someone a couple years older than them lmao gimmie a break, I say get you head checked but your health care isn't free lol.

FWIW -- ages of consent vary by state down here. It's 16 here(NV), 18 in california, etc etc etc (believe it may be 14 in utah??)

It's not legal to smoke cigs at 16 anywhere down here. Teens get fined when they're caught smoking. Gotta be 18 to smoke or buy smokes, unless you're in alabama and it's 19.
