Demi Lovato may have a lot of tattoos, but it seems that each one means something... and some are covering up the scars left from when she would cut herself. The singer opened up to Glamour Magazine about her scars, referring to them as battle wounds.
"I think t
he scars are like battle wounds, beautiful, in a way. They show what you've been through and how strong you are for coming out of it. Now I'm able to look at them and be thankful for being alive. I think that I've been blessed over the past year to be able to start over," Demi shared.
The singer continues to be strong and to talk about her struggles, hoping to help other teens who have been dealing with similar issues. This year really has been great for Lovato, who managed to get the help that she needed and turn her life around. The fact that she is so open and honest about the dark time in her life is really amazing, especially because she has the ability to help others just by talking. She has proved to be one of the most inspirational teen stars... ever.
