I am sooo sick of this bullcrap. It's insane! "Nero (Washington) fiddles while Rome (The U.S.) burns." OWS isn't going to end. The winter may slow it down, but Hope (& anger)springs eternal, as in the Arab Spring, & next year is an election year.
Don't think that they're not scared. They are, & they sure as hell ought to be. Just sayin'.....

Gravy train paranoia?
Worse, as the money Koch and others gave to Cain is pure loss, why the Dems keep asking them to share a bit with the middle and low classes? They already lost enough!
KochCain already stated they lost his campaign money because of the Dems who keep finding girls who have been taking profit of him, of his generosity. One seems to have raped Herman for 13 years and he never complained. Was he already feeling that no one would believe him?
Yes, this Williams (?) girl was sent by the Dems already then, because they believed that one day or another he would become interested by the Presidency.
Well, this is the difference between GOP/TP and the Dems: the latter have a much better idea about what will be going on!

Party for Socialism and Liberation
Sorry Susan;
The official list of OWS protesters, financiers and sympathizers
And as I have said before, The OWSers started out with reasonable gripes but let just about anyone who wanted come down and join their party no matter how radical or depraved.
Unlike the TEA Party who quelled the racists and bigoted extremists when they tried to join in, the OWSers let the anti Semites and the like join in.
It is based on projection into future of PAST economics which is not taking into account: the choices from individuals, corporations, the fact that most issued money is done through share exchanges, over estimated assets (sub-primes) and is completely wrong as far as timing is concerned.
On top of it it doesn't take into account the technological evolution while it is relayed by an obviously partisan conception.
The goal is to promote mainly large corporations. The chart they suggest in order to try to match a balance budget is far not detailed enough as to allow considering organization changes as, p. ex., the about 20% lesser expenditures in Medicare and Medicaid due to less attendance to Emergency rooms; the non ability to slow down some military expenditures either due to technology, either due to the ending of some war theaters, the non ability to stop some subsides to corporations alike the oil industry, etc.
The main idea they have is to low down expenditures (but, of course, not their own) while avoiding to raise taxes for millionaires and corporations, this is to say that middle classes and lower classes would see their own ability to spend shrinking.
Maybe this way Rolls Royce, Cadillac and other Aston Martin industries would be in a position to hire and to sell more ...
The question is not for how long this could go but how many Cadillacs a millionaire could drive simultaneously.
Economy is not a plus and less science: it has to take into account the many feedback of each decision and it has to take into account the "inertia" of them because often the consequences start showing up after a minimum of 6 months and will not show full effect before 2 or 3 YEARS.
And the inertia works in both ways as no one can stop a heavy giant tanker within less than 17 nautical miles.
Thanks for the link which provides enough information, from link to link, to show all of this. In some way, I would qualify, despite his Nobel prize, Friedman as a demagogue.
This raises 2 questions:
- How come the agricultural market is being so much disrupted?
- How come the GOP can support not raising taxes on millionaires while refusing to pay decent wages to Americans.
IMO, if something is illegal over here, it's not the immigration but the hiring discrepancy. What about the state collecting, as tax, the difference between the paid wages and the minimum American wage in the area?
Unlike the TEA Party. :)
We know you support the radical fringe and that's fine with me, it's just that all of this OWS stuff isn't going to change the direction of the country.....The 2012 election isn't going to go in your favor.
LOL, you told them they couldn't bring signs anymore, that's all, get real.
- How come the agricultural market is being so much disrupted?
- How come the GOP can support not raising taxes on millionaires while refusing to pay decent wages to Americans.
After all they cover a lot of problems about the real markets, the immigration, the American worker, the education, taxes, etc. and they are directly related to reality ... I feel they deserve a detailed answer including how the GOP/TP intends to help to solve this matter.
So please Dan don't chicken up ....
Gilbert, You have heard no such thing...You are lying!
You and your ilk are willing to take from others to pay for what you want so YOU don't have to pay for it yourself.
LOL!
Q: "How come the agricultural market is being so much disrupted?"
A: Aside from the problems that effect any market at any given time the agricultural market is not being disrupted to any exceptional degree.
Q: "How come the GOP can support not raising taxes on millionaires while refusing to pay decent wages to Americans."
Raising taxes on the wealthy leads to a reduction of federal tax revenues, the federal tax records proved it.
Aside from minimum wage laws, private corporations determine the wages they pay their employees not the Republicans or the Dems.
At that time you don't even dare to deny it.
As far as taxing "on the wealthy leads to a reduction of federal tax revenues" I can understand your reading of the statistics - even if it is not your personal reading of them.
But in fact your mysticism makes you believe that the corporation is your own reference system, your living standard and you expect your new god to repay you for fidelity.
Corporations don't mind: they want to avoid any future competition because they are unable to face nowadays the technological demand. So your god is asking you to promote the idea that jobs are not existing because of a non existing market. And to achieve this, corporations, your new gods, have to increase the joblessness list.
As the new ordered tooling will not be in before 12 to 18 months from now, they want to take profit of your own mysticism in order to delay any market improvement.
This is why you, among many others, deny the reality and, instead, try to show an image fitting with the image you have of your new god.
Wake up Dan: you are far from being independent and you sold your own soul for a dish of lentils!
I mean about Gilbert's comments?
You understand Gilbert's broken ESL English?
I know he's trying to toss what he thinks is clever insults around but his English is so bad that it just comes across as clumsy.
Clever is never a good argument it's a sure sign that you don't have one at all, argument that is!
You make assertions...I counter and you respond with what you think are clever insults....Because you can't debate the issues.
you are an empty container, vacuous of any ability to debate discuss or do anything but insult.
Indeed we don't share the same reality neither ways to read.
