While nearly all Americans head to family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving, the Senate is gearing up for a vote on Monday or Tuesday that goes to the very heart of who we are as Americans. The Senate will be voting on a bill that will direct American military resources not at an enemy shooting at our military in a war zone, but at American citizens and other civilians far from any battlefield — even people in the United States itself.
. Nobody wanted to believe Alex jones, or conspiracy theorist sine that is the case maybe now the ACLU will wake America up to the crumbling of America nobody thought it true and the FEDS sneaks it in the white house while they are making sure they sneak this in, so much for a transparent government, y'all should have listened to Alex jones fifteen years ago!

MILITARY COMMISSIONS ACT
In the final hours before adjourning in 2006, Congress passed and the president signed the Military Commissions Act (MCA). In doing so, they cast aside the Constitution and the principle of habeas corpus, which protects against unlawful and indefinite imprisonment. They also gave the president absolute power to designate enemy combatants, and to set his own definitions for torture.
f enacted, sections 1031 and 1032 of the NDAA would:
1)Â Explicitly authorize the federal government to indefinitely imprison without charge or trial American citizens and others picked up inside and outside the United States;
(2)Â Mandate military detention of some civilians who would otherwise be outside of military control, including civilians picked up within the United States itself; and
(3)Â Transfer to the Department of Defense core prosecutorial, investigative, law enforcement, penal, and custodial authority and responsibility now held by the Department of Justice.

The worldwide indefinite detention without charge or trial provision is in S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act bill, which will be on the Senate floor on Monday. The bill was drafted in secret by Sens. Carl Levin (D-Mich.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.) and passed in a closed-door committee meeting, without even a single hearing.
I know it sounds incredible. New powers to use the military worldwide, even within the United States? Hasn’t anyone told the Senate that Osama bin Laden is dead, that the president is pulling all of the combat troops out of Iraq and trying to figure out how to get combat troops out of Afghanistan too? And American citizens and people picked up on American or Canadian or British streets being sent to military prisons indefinitely without even being charged with a crime. Really? Does anyone think this is a good idea? And why now?
2006? This means that this law has been initiated under GWB administration and most probably Cheney and Rumsfeld.
As the NDAA is the annual budget for the Defense, I have been unable to locate he original text for 2012 and the names you mentioned doesn't seem to me fitting with what you stated, no doubt, in full good faith.
As the Congress refuses anything, jobs investments included, we may hope that this will be refused as well.
It is no wonder America is ending up as it is. Just look at how many views this has. Then after Thanksgiving all these people are going to say Uhhhh we never knew this happened. this is exactly how the FEDS slip b.s. into our Constitution year after year, then when the trickles starting hitting the general public it isn't until then people wake up, yet there are those who will never wake up it is those who will be in the exact behavior that Hitler once lead to the gas chambers. Those are the true followers to a man who gives two craps about them or their family Why are so many so dependent upon a President as if he is one of their parents or something I just don't get it, and probably never will.
Just as those who get that our crumbling America is being brought to it's knees, I suppose those on the other side find it just as hard to understand.
PEOPLE READ THIS, THE FEDS are slipping another in on you during the holidays. MAKE SOME NOISE and don't let this happen to our country!!

For the most part, I believe the politicians we are familiar with are just actors, good performers, "face men" if you will, groomed and advanced career wise, to play parts in the dopey red/blue team charade the mass media stages to keep the illusion of real dispute among the power "elites" going. Long ago now, that whole red/blue game lost any real meaning, in terms of which Party is on the people's side . . Neither is, as organizations anyway. Both are, in terms of the "little people" being mostly against ending the Constitutional Republic, and the rule of law as opposed to the rule of men . .
This is treason from the top down. This is evil, of horrendous proportions, essentially intent on stripping the world of the "scourge" of democratic/free society, which the psychopathic elite criminals on high, have no use for. Much of what we see, is actually a part of a propaganda campaign aimed at military/law enforcement personnel, I believe, in a long campaign to switch over to a totalitarian/authoritarian supporting gang, rather than a gang loyal to the people and Constitution. Our fate rests to a great extent on how successful the "elite criminals" believe this effort has been. At this point, it seems there remains a significant resistance among the "troops", so to speak, and that's what's holding up the show . . not us civilians so much . .
i'm unable to find it right now i'll try to get back later and post it though.
They will call on you to break your Oath!
It seems to me, that what the TEA Party folks did, and the impact their public "demonstrating" and "protesting" had in reality-land, got the elites attention in a big way. The image of protesters or activists as radicals or dreamy youths was shattered to a great extent by that extremely peaceful and effective exercise of civil rights.
I believe that a "psyop" to change the imagery back to the older radical/troublemaker stereotype, was then set in motion. At the first sign of more "protests" about the elite criminal behavior that has left us in financial ruins, the "radicals" were summons into action, and/or encouraged to continue, so as to stigmatize the one thing those elite fear most; A general uprising of the loyal citizenry, against them.
I saw all sorts of attempts to demonize and marginalize the TEA Party folks go nowhere, but this time the psyop was in place, and executed rather well, it seems. Now, the concept of public protest and activism, has been successfully made distasteful to the people who not long ago supported that very approach. The fear of us not playing the standard left/right, red/blue, rich/poor games, but dropping that "us vs us" stuff long enough to rid the nation of the "elite" maniac's domination, has been soothed. The great threat of the American people coming together against the criminal over-class, has been defused, for now.
But perhaps more importantly, the video and public commentary/reaction that would at least sort of justify in the minds of military/law enforcement personnel, the sort of martial law style unlimited powers now being pushed through Congress, has been obtained. It won't be hard to stifle even that feared coming together, if the "troops" have been taken in by that psyop, I don't believe. A "fail-safe" is in place now . . and the "us vs us" game is back in full swing.
Martial Law 'National Defense Authorization Act bill' versus Udall Amendment
As the Senate readies to vote on an amendment that would enact Martial Law and human rights violations worse than the United States has seen to date as John McCain and Levin are supporting, an affront on the U.S. Constitution, ACLU said Monday in a written statement that senators need to hear from Americans now to urge Senators to vote instead for the Udall Amendment that Senator Mark Udall has written about in the Washington Post Monday.
"I have no doubt that my colleagues had the best of intentions when they wrote those provisions, but their proposal is deeply flawed," stated Mark Udall in his op-ed in the Washington Post Monday. "If the Senate passes this legislation in a vote expected this week, we risk harming our ability to combat

Julian P. Heicklen, a 79-year-old retired chemistry professor, has often stood on a plaza outside the United States Courthouse in Manhattan, holding a “Jury Info” sign and handing out brochures that advocate jury nullification, the controversial view that if jurors disagree with a law, they may ignore their oaths to follow it and may acquit a defendant who violated it.

Then, last year, federal prosecutors had Mr. Heicklen indicted, charging that his activity violated the law against jury tampering. Lawyers assisting him have sought dismissal of the case on First Amendment grounds.
But now prosecutors are offering their first detailed explanation for why they charged Mr. Heicklen, arguing in a brief that his “advocacy of jury nullification, directed as it is to jurors, would be both criminal and without Constitutional protections no matter where it occurred.”
“His speech is not protected by the First Amendment,” prosecutors wrote.
“No legal system could long survive,” they added, “if it gave every individual the option of disregarding with impunity any law which by his personal standard was judged morally untenable.”
