Will Justin Bieber Have to Take Another DNA Test?

Justin Bieber's alleged baby mama Mariah Yeater is not giving up her fight to stay in the spotlight. Now she and her legal team have found a new way to drag this paternity drama out a little bit longer - by demanding the Biebs to take another DNA test.

Beliebers were probably thrilled when they learned that this ordeal was nearly over - Justin took a DNA test Friday, and everyone was simply waiting on the results. However, Justin's legal team was having problems getting Mariah Yeater's legal team to produce a DNA sample from her baby boy. And without that, Justin's DNA doesn't prove anything.

But of course there was a reason Mariah's attorney wasn't cooperating this time around - he wants Justin Bieber to submit to another test. Attorney Jeffrey Leving wants the do-over because he's afraid that the first DNA sample taken from Justin could have been tampered with. Apparently Leving is hoping to set up a supervised DNA test with Justin, Mariah, and Tristyn all together. So basically he's going to try to force Justin to face his accuser, something that the Biebs certainly does not want.

After all, if Mariah Yeater's attorney can keep dragging out her fifteen minutes of fame and even get her the chance to see Justin in person, who many other girls will try the same thing? Hopefully Justin's attorneys are really fighting this.

And if they do agree to a supervised DNA test (without Justin ever coming in contact with Mariah, of course), then they better get to pick the place where the test takes place - there's no telling what lengths Leving is willing to go to in order to win this high-profile paternity battle.

But while he might not stoop so low as to paying someone to mess with the test results, he could have another devious plan - it's possible he's trying to drag this matter out through the holidays in hopes that Justin Bieber will get tired of it and simply pay Mariah Yeater to go away.

Leving did say that he will refile the paternity suit if the matter can't get settled out of court, and it probably won't if Justin Bieber refuses to submit to another DNA test. But whatever happens, hopefully Justin's team fights this until the end to ensure that it doesn't happen again.
